Fixed Wing UA Systems

Pegasus Aerospace is specialized in custom design and engineering of UAV components and complete systems. Having the experience, know-how and the power to manufacture components in-house, Pegasus Aerospace is uniquely qualified to deliver a rapid turnaround for custom designed components and systems.

As manufacturing technology is continuously evolving so is the need for re-thinking traditional design approaches and methodology. We do still design and manufacture the old traditional way, however, our focus is shifting towards the additive manufacturing technologies for rapid prototyping and manufacturing.

We are capable of designing and prototyping any kind/type of component and or complete system, ranging from small Multi-Rotor systems and components to large-scale fixed wing systems.

Below is a preview of some of the systems we have designed and prototyped for customers.

We designed the Aquatone 3 UAV to be the most efficient of its kind. Designed to be used as a V or H tail, with a custom designed wing, translating low stall speeds, high max efficiency, a large cruise window and payload capacity, self-cooling fuselage, built in component bays and an entirely electric propulsion system. This equates to less energy expended and more time in the air.

 

Our transformative design allows for dynamic use, making each Aquatone truly unique. One can use the Aquatone for search and rescue missions, inspections of pipelines, photography, film making, thermal imaging, 3D terrain mapping, precision agriculture, surveillance, reconnaissance, FPV, live video links, humanitarian aid, and much more!

 

We are committed to integrating efficient design with modern technology in a robust, entirely composite platform. The Aquatone is nearly silent, can fly for over 2 hrs, reach speeds of up to 90 MPH and travel for over 100 miles. The modified Aquatone airframe allows you to fly autonomously, capture stunning HD photos and video, complete aerial surveys, monitor crop health, and wirelessly transmit live video. This is all done with incredible accuracy thanks to an advanced onboard flight computer system.

We work to create solutions that are affordable, efficient and of superior quality. We refuse to accept that affordable means inferior and well-built means unattainable. We create professional-grade tools at affordable prices.

Odyssey 4, was designed and developed from the ground up to be manufactured using Additive Manufacturing Technologies such as a 3D Printer. It was designed to be a portable, low-cost production and maintenance Unmanned System. Odyssey is a lightweight, rapid deployment UAV for both military and commercial applications, requiring low-altitude intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).

It features a 4 meter (13.1 Ft) wingspan, fully electric propulsion, optional solar in-flight recharging capabilities, a Pegasus proprietary LiMg flight battery system, enabling the UAS to have an endurance of more than 12 hours when equipped with a solar film over the wings and fuselage.

Odyssey features a range of more than 150-radian miles, a portable ground control station, and very convenient portability. The system can be launched from either a custom designed catapult system, or have a landing gear system attached, and can either land on its belly by parachute, or on optionally installed landing gear.

Additionally, Odyssey is equipped with a transponder which makes it visible to other aircraft in the National Airspace and to control towers.

Odyssey can be configured with multiple optical payload systems, and different flight control systems, making it a truly versatile UA System.

Vulcan Unmanned Systems series was designed and developed from the ground up to be manufactured using Additive Manufacturing Technologies such as a 3D Printer. It was designed to be a portable, low-cost production and maintenance Unmanned System.

 

Vulcan UAS series is a lightweight, rapid deployment system for both military and commercial applications, requiring low-altitude intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR). Vulcan comes in a 3, 4 or 5-meter wingspan, fully electric propulsion with optional solar in-flight recharging capabilities and a Pegasus proprietary LiMn2O4 flight battery system, or a fuel injected 4-stroke gas engine, enabling the UAS to have an endurance of more

then 24 hours when using gas or equipped with a solar film over the wings and fuselage.

Vulcan UAS series has a range of more than 150-radian miles, a portable ground control station, and very convenient portability. The system can be launched from either a custom designed catapult system, or have a landing gear system attached, and can either land on its belly by parachute, or on optionally installed landing gear.

Additionally, Vulcan is equipped with a transponder which makes it visible to other aircraft in the National Airspace and to control towers, as well as ADS-B or FLARM.

Vulcan UAS can be obtained as a naked, airframe only, be partially or fully configured with internal equipment, multiple optical payload systems, and different flight control systems, making it a truly versatile UA System for the customer. Airframe modifications are possible and quick as it is designed to be 3D Printed!
